Maureen Heaney
Maureen Heaney was the only child of Hugh Heaney and Edith Evans. She was born in 1950 and died aged 46 in 1996. Very little is known about Maureen's life. She studied in Ontario and eventually qualified as a nurse. She lived at Apartment 51/3 Broadview, Ontario and never married. Maureen was Hugh's entire life however she struggled with her mental health and in 1996 made the sad decision to end her own life. The fallout of her death would haunt Hugh for the rest of his life and cast a shadow of deep sadness. We remember her today as a bright, independant woman - The apple of her fathers eye.
Hugh married a second time, to Margaret Ives (nee Loft) in Ontario. Margaret had 3 children from a previous marriage:

- Mary (Cathy) Ives. She has one daughter Shannon Hutchins
