One foot in the past and one foot in the future

I didn’t set out to establish an archive, or take up genealogy, or write a blog, but only to satisfy my curiosity about an old photograph I found in a cardboard box at my grandmothers’ house.

​

Who were our ancestors and what were their motivations ? I wanted to know. 

​

Years later our history has been realised and this site is intended to pay tribute to every single member of our family, alive or dead.

​

I hope you enjoy reading the stories as much as I have enjoyed researching them.
